The first and oldest concrete company in Suriname. Manufactures and sells building materials and concrete products. Offers various construction solutions in the area of building and road construction, land pavement, sewerage, infrastructure and raw materials. Also tailor made products in addition to its standard products.

Since its establishment in 1965, Argos Suriname, under the business name Vensur N.V., is the sole manufacturer of freshly produced cement in Suriname. Furthermore the company also sells concrete. As of 2013 the ‘Vensur’ brand underwent a transformation to (and was changed into) ‘Argos’ as part of an expansion strategy of the joint venture between Cementos Argos S.A. and C. Kersten en Co. N.V. In the Surinamese Market, Argos cement, in comparison to import by competitors, has a more durable storage quality due to the continuous “fresh” stock. The Argos product is available at over 92% of all building material shops and can also be purchased directly at Argos Suriname.
