Currently, we are seeking a Junior Instructor for Kersten Training Academy, who is expected to perform administrative and technical duties in accordance with the Company’s defined training procedures and practices.
Job description:
- Conduct necessary equipment checks (pre-and post) to ensure that all the training sessions are safely executed and in accordance with the applicable standards;
- Ensure equipment checklists are completed on a monthly basis;
- Provide support to Instructors in conducting training in accordance with the predetermined syllabus for the assigned course, taking into account the requirements of all applicable legislation and the Company’s HSEQ Management System;
- Assist in the supervision of learners during the practical training sessions and ensure that all exercises are performed in a competent, safe and professional manner;
- Liaise with Instructors/ Assessors to provide and ensure consistent delivery, on-going support and engendering a strong team spirit and work ethic at all times;
- Responsible for providing a professional service and attitude towards Staff members and learners.
- Responsible for securing all equipment upon completion of every training session;
- Performs any other related duties as required by the Operations Manager.
Job requirements:
- Relevant education and experience: Completed High School education or a higher education and has presentation skills as evidenced by a certificate from a recognized institution. Proficient in English;
